Circular Quay Renewal PPP

Our services were part of the Plenary Group bid team including John Holland Group as construction contractor and ALA Architecture/Cox Architecture as architects.  

With 64 million public and active transport trips to and from the area each year, it is a critical interchange in the heart of Sydney, Australia’s most visited tourist destination and hosts our biggest events, such as the New Year’s Eve Fireworks show, with one billion viewers globally. The area is also a major transport interchange, including the Circular Quay train station and wharves, light rail and buses, plus the promenade, Cahill Expressway and First Fleet Park. 

SCG scope of services included: 

  • Design review of the bid documents including the Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) Security Design Framework, Threat, Vulnerability & Risk Assessment, Business Requirements Specifications and TfNSW Physical Security and CCTV Standards 
  • Production of a security risk assessment to translate the TVRA into the security strategy 
  • Definition of the overarching security strategy for the precinct 
  • Production of security drawings 
  • Bid information to be included with the overall Consortia’s bid submission
