Goulburn Police Academy
SCG is engaged to provide security and firing range planning and design services as part of Joss Construction team delivering the Goulburn Police Academy indoor firing range on behalf of NSW Police.
Located at the existing academy site in southern NSW, the new range will allow training of 480 police recruits every four months, in addition to 50 instructors and training staff.
The addition of the range and staff administration area will enable the academy to continue to accommodate and train an increasing number of students and NSW Police Force members.
SCG’s scope of services included the preparation of full design documentation in Revit for the security services, bullet traps, ballistic wall treatments, ballistic ceilings, ballistic baffles, ballistic windows and targetry systems.
