Queensland Defence Bases Type 1A SAS Upgrades
SCG was engaged by Downer Defence on behalf of Defence Estate and Infrastructure Group to assess the Type 1 security alarm system installations in nominated zone areas at Gallipoli and Kokoda Barracks in Queensland.
The project scope required specialist SCEC consultant services to upgrade the existing Central Supervisory System as it resided on non-SCEC compliant hardware. The project included assessment of all Zone 4 spaces at the Enoggera Barracks site in Queensland. Deliverables included:
- Reviewed the previous Central Supervisory System and provided advice on cutting over to the new system
- Delivered the design and documentation of the required server replacement
- Conducted site inspections including witness acceptance testing of the completed Type 1A Central Supervisory System installations and sample recommissioning of the connected Type1 and Type1A security alarm systems
