Facilities to support Highly Available ICT Project (EST05532) & Facilities to Support Distributed Ground Station Australia (ESTA3503PH1)
The project comprises delivery of specialist, high security facilities to support important ICT capabilities for the Australian Defence Force under EST05532 (Facilities to support Highly Available ICT Project) and ESTA3503PH1 (Facilities to Support Distributed Ground Station Australia).
The works include requirements for multiple security zones and development of supporting infrastructure and facilities for the two sites at RAAF Base Edinburgh:
- A “core” data centre facility (EST05532)
- Supporting building infrastructure (ESTA5303PH1)
SCG has been engaged by the Managing Contractor (Lendlease) as the Design Services Subconsultant to provide SCEC security design and consultancy services for the design stages of the project:
- Planning Phase
- Concept Design Report (30%)
- Delivery Phase
- Detailed Design Report (90%) – including an internal SDR, 50% mid-milestone
- Final Design Report (100%)
- Construction Phase (construction administration, final acceptance testing and practical completion)
