EST02012 Woomera Redevelopment
The aim of this redevelopment project is to meet the short-term needs of the Woomera Range Complex in South Australia, which is Australia’s most important weapons testing range with capability to support trials, testing and training. The Woomera Range Complex comprises the Woomera Test and Training Range and RAAF Base Woomera.
The scope of works includes redevelopment, refurbishment and extension of majority of facilities and service infrastructure within the Woomera Range Complex. Specific locations include the Range and Range Head, the Airfield and Technical Area, Scale A Camp (Camp Rapier replacement) and the Woomera Village.
SCG was engaged by the Managing Contractor (Woomera Redevelopment Joint Venture as the Design Services Subconsultant) to provide SCEC security and ICT communications design and consultancy services for design stages associated with the planning phase of the project:
- Concept Design Report (30%)
- Schematic Design Report (50%)
