WSIA Canine Facility
The canine facility at Western Sydney Airport will contain shared administrative and canine operational areas, as well as kennels for 60 detector dogs. This standalone faclity will be concurrently delivered alongside Western Sydney International Terminal and landside facilities, which must be managed and integrated. All works must comply with Australian standards and statutory requirements.

SCG’s scope included coordinating with the client, their appointed design consultants and D&C contractors to:
- Develop three phases of security services design (30%, 60%, 90%) for the site.
- SCEC advisory and design services.
- Update the cost plan and program (from that submitted at the RFT stage).
- Manage stakeholder review and engagement (focused on the end users) across multiple Government Border Force Agencies.
- Manage relevant approvals to expedite delivery.
- Provide tender support services during the construction phase.
- Provide construction management services, including SCEC oversight and witness and acceptance testing of electronic security systems plus final inspections.
