Benjamin has built his career in the security industry from the ground up, starting as a technician more than a decade ago and steadily working his way through engineering roles into consultancy. Along the way, he has contributed to some of Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, multiple Correctional facilities, Queens Wharf casino, and multiple high-profile defence and government facilities. His passion lies in the design phase and electronic security—working closely with clients to understand their needs, then shaping practical, resilient solutions that protect people, assets, and operations. For Benjamin, there is real satisfaction in knowing that his designs go beyond compliance to create safe, functional spaces where people can live, work, and thrive.
At SCG, Benjamin continues to bring that experience and passion for design to large-scale, complex projects, with a particular interest in federal government and defence work. His career highlights include leading engineering teams locally and offshore, navigating challenging projects through unprecedented disruptions such as COVID and natural disasters, and delivering outcomes that exceeded client expectations. Outside of work, Benjamin enjoys simple leisure’s such as experimenting with cooking, any sport events and activities from backyard cricket to international finals, gaming and hands-on DIY projects, which give him a creative outlet and feed his love of problem-solving and technology. With each new challenge, he remains focused on delivering security solutions that make a tangible difference while continuing to grow as a leader in the industry.
