Bevan brings more than two decades of experience in finance administration, with a career spanning large professional services firms and boutique organisations alike. At SCG, he plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations—overseeing invoicing, accounts payable, and the integration of financial processes into the company’s project systems. What he values most in his role is the variety: no two days are ever the same. From refining processes to supporting forecasting and reporting, Bevan thrives on problem-solving and the satisfaction of seeing an idea move from concept to implementation. His passion lies in designing practical systems that not only make his own work more efficient but create lasting improvements for the business and colleagues around him.
Outside of work, Bevan finds balance through sport and family life. A lifelong cricket player, he has spent years both on the field and giving back as a coach and team manager, though more recently he has enjoyed stepping back to watch his two sons pursue their own sporting journeys. Whether at the gym, the cricket club, or cheering from the sidelines of a soccer match, Bevan values time with his family above all else. Looking ahead, he’s excited by the chance to contribute to SCG’s growth, particularly through opportunities to be more involved in budgeting and strategy. With his wealth of experience and commitment to continuous improvement, Bevan is well-placed to help shape the company’s future while keeping its operations running seamlessly.
