Elizabeth Thill
Security Consultant, New South Wales
Elizabeth is a Security Consultant in SCG’s Sydney office with a background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience across both construction and consulting. Beginning her career on the installation and project delivery side before moving into consulting, she brings a practical understanding of how designs translate into real-world outcomes. At SCG, Elizabeth is particularly focused on problem solving and design development, with a strong interest in creating efficiencies through standardisation. She values the variety of projects the firm delivers, while also recognising the importance of refining repeatable processes to reduce errors and free up capacity for more complex and creative problem solving.
Her project experience spans large-scale and technically complex facilities, including defence projects and secure environments, where she has worked from early design through to construction and commissioning. Elizabeth enjoys the challenge of working within defined parameters, balancing technical constraints with client requirements to deliver robust and reliable security outcomes. She is also a strong advocate for improving documentation and consistency across the business, helping to strengthen knowledge sharing and streamline project delivery. Through this approach, Elizabeth contributes not only to the success of individual projects, but also to SCG’s growth and continuous improvement as a consultancy.
