Hugh is a mechatronic engineer (BEng(MX)/BCom(Fin)) with over 14 years’ experience designing, consulting on, and delivering complex electronic security and integration systems in high-security environments. With a background in robotics and a career spanning roles as both an integrator and consultant, he thrives on solving complex challenges by bringing diverse technical systems together into seamless, functional solutions.
His expertise spans Australian Government, Defence, corrections, aviation, data centres, and telecommunications, including the design and rollout of national infrastructure projects and the upgrade of electronic security systems in high-risk operational sites.
Known for his collaborative approach, Hugh enjoys working closely with clients and project teams to deliver outcomes that balance technical excellence with practical, real-world security strategies. Equally passionate about leadership and mentoring, Hugh takes pride in guiding graduate engineers and fostering high-performing, supportive design teams.
Beyond his technical career, he is a proud father and a fiddle player in a country music band.
