Michael is a Chartered Professional Engineer and trusted adviser with over 15 years’ experience delivering innovative, technically complex projects across Government, Defence, Corrections, Transport, Health, Data Centres, and Critical Infrastructure. Beginning his career in electrical engineering, he has developed a broad and adaptable skillset spanning communications infrastructure, ICT networks, audio-visual systems, electronic security, and cybersecurity. Michael has significant expertise applying the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Information Security Manual (ISM) to ICT and Operational Technology (OT) systems and has led the design and implementation of secure communications networks for high-security and mission-critical environments. One of his most notable projects was the Ravenhall Correctional Centre PPP, where he managed a project technical review team while providing trusted advisory across electrical, communications, audio visual, security, ICT, and cyber domains.

With more than 20 years in the security industry, including six years in operational security roles at major Melbourne sites such as Parliament House and Melbourne Town Hall, Michael brings both practical insight and deep technical knowledge to his consulting work. He thrives on the diversity of projects and values building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes. Dedicated to lifelong learning, he continues to expand his expertise in emerging areas such as cybersecurity while balancing parenting, university study, and fitness.
