Nick is a Principal of SCG, with over 25 years of experience delivering security solutions that shape some of Australia’s most complex and high-profile projects. Starting his career as a service technician across Australia, the UK, and Europe, he built a deep technical foundation before moving into consulting in 2008. Since then, Nick has led the security and ICT design across defence, justice, transport, health, data centres, and federal government projects, earning a reputation as the go-to advisor for unravelling complex challenges and turning them into clear, actionable strategies.
Recognised for his ability to think several steps ahead, Nick thrives in high-security and large-scale environments where the stakes are highest. His strength lies in blending technical mastery with strategic foresight—designing solutions that not only work in practice but also deliver enduring value. Clients trust him for his collaborative style, his ability to see through complexity, and his track record of driving outcomes that stand the test of time.
What drives Nick is problem-solving at scale—piecing together systems, risks, and human factors into security strategies that safeguard communities and enable Australia’s future. Currently, his work focuses on major Defence, federal government and data centre programs, where he operates at the intersection of innovation, resilience, and trusted advisory.
Away from the office, Nick is passionate about travel, aviation, music, classic cars and football, sharing his love for the game with his wife and children. Whether flying, exploring new places, or entertaining friends, he brings the same energy and curiosity to life as he does to his projects. A natural leader and mentor, he is committed to developing the next generation of consultants—empowering them to think laterally, embrace challenges, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
