Pieter is a Security Consultant dedicated to helping organisations protect their most valuable assets—people, data, and operations—through solutions that are both effective and practical. With extensive experience across correctional and infrastructure projects, he thrives on guiding clients through every phase of the security lifecycle, from early requirements and design through to commissioning and handover. He is known for translating complex security principles into strategies that are clear, workable, and aligned with business needs. One of his most memorable projects was the South Queensland Correctional Centre, where he gained valuable end-to-end experience and developed a deep appreciation for the satisfaction of seeing a system come to life and deliver real impact.
For Pieter, the true reward is in the outcomes: safer workplaces, stronger resilience, and teams that feel confident in their security posture. He enjoys the variety and complexity of projects across different sectors, seeing each as an opportunity to apply fresh thinking and share knowledge with colleagues and clients. Outside of work, Pieter balances his technical creativity with hands-on pursuits, from electronic design, 3D printing, and laser cutting, to supporting his wife’s flower farm in regional Victoria. Whether solving complex problems in the field or experimenting with new designs at home, Pieter is driven by a commitment to protecting Australia’s way of life and making a meaningful contribution to every project he undertakes.
