Shaun Clark

Shaun is a Security Consultant who found his way into the profession almost by chance, coming from an electrical engineering background into a field that offered far more variety and challenge than he first expected. Since joining SCG in its early days, he has built deep experience in custodial, government, health, and data centre projects, with a particular passion for complex, highly coordinated work that demands creative problem-solving. Shaun thrives on the fact that no two projects are alike—each requires bespoke design, stakeholder engagement, and innovative solutions tailored to unique operational needs. Over time, he has also taken on project leadership roles, enjoying the opportunity to manage teams, shape project delivery, and contribute to the business beyond technical design.

Outside of work, Shaun brings balance and energy to his life through Latin dancing, a passion he discovered as a way to step back from long hours and which has since become a major part of his lifestyle. Previously involved with the CFA in Victoria, Shaun values community service and collaboration, and he continues to contribute to SCG’s growth through initiatives like documentation standards and knowledge-sharing systems. He is motivated by both the technical challenge of his work and the broader impact it can create—helping clients, colleagues, and communities feel safer, more secure, and better connected.
