SECURITY SYSTEM REVIEW AND AUDIT
SCG was engaged by the Department of Justice and Regulation (Vic) to undertake an assessment of the existing security system at Tarrengower Prison to assess the current performance, age, obsolescence and ongoing maintenance requirements.
SCG also completed a review and assessment of the existing “As Built” documentation to determine if it reflects the current system configuration. SCG also assessed the operation of the security as it pertains to performance and operator training, allowing DJR to better determine their security strategy for the prison moving forward.
SECURITY CONCEPT DESIGN
As a result of the review and audit of the incumbent security system at Tarrengower Prison previously undertaken by SCG, SCG was again engaged by the Department of Justice and Regulation (DJR) this time to conduct a scoping exercise and subsequent security concept design with the aim of upgrading the security infrastructure across the prison. SCG provided recommendations for improvements and additional technology required to improve security at Tarrengower Prison.
