SECURITY MANAGEMENT PLANS

An organisation’s Security Management Plan outlines the various roles, responsibilities and actions related to their protective security arrangements.  Security management planning should be based on outcomes from Security Risk Management activities and will provide linkages to other organisational plans such as the organisation’s corporate plan and/or strategic plan.

The security management plan provides the organisation’s leaders the opportunity to highlight the importance of security and reiterate the need for effective security risk management.  Management plans generally include the core protective security areas of governance, personnel security, information security and physical security and should be reviewed every other year or as the risk landscape of the organisation changes.

The diverse team at Security Consulting Group have extensive experience in end-to-end security management across a wide variety of organisations.
