SCG has been engaged by the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works, on behalf of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, to implement a program of works to address obsolescence issues with perimeter electronic security systems and associated electrical systems in order to enhance safety and security, and to extend the useable life of Woodford Correctional Facility. This includes detailed design and oversight of the implementation in a live operational environment.
Joondalup Police Station

The review would provide BMW and Western Australia Police (WAPOL) with an understanding of the current CCTV system at the station focusing on three key areas, which included:
- Technical Review of the installed systems from an obsolesces and equipment life cycle perspective
- Performance Review to assess the operation of the system and quality of the existing camera views. This would include assessment of general system operation (i.e. history and fault logs) and review of the image quality and performance of the existing camera views (i.e. camera by camera commentary)
- Coverage Review to assess the extent of the existing CCTV camera coverage for compliance with the current WAPOL Building Code.
Queensland Correctional Services Farms

SCG was part of a wider team who undertook associated building audits and assessments including architectural, building services, structural and civil disciplines.
