Our scope of services included design and documentation, tender, and implementation phases, with the total project delivery over approximately 16 weeks.

The existing legacy system is a Cardax FT Commander which had reached end of life, and included 30 controlled access doors at the South Perth Facility and three remote gate access points in regional locations.

Department of Immigration and Border Protection

SCG was engaged by Department of Immigration and Border Protection to undertake a strategic review of current security infrastructure at selected Immigration Detention Facilities and make recommendations to improve capability for the management of high risk detainees.

The SCG team brought to this project a strong ability to benchmark designs and differing operational requirements across correctional institutions throughout Australia and overseas.  This includes projects in the juvenile system, adult male and female facilities, forensic mental health, immigration centres and across all security and classification levels.
