SCG has been engaged to provide a Security Master Plan and a Threat and Vulnerability Risk Analysis, for the construction stage of the Forrestfield-Airport Rail Link project in Perth.

The Salini Impregilo – NRW Joint Venture are the design and construct contractor for the project which includes an 8.5km spur line extension of the Midland Rail Line, connecting through to Forrestfield via the Perth Domestic and International Airport.

The project includes an extensive amount of underground tunnels, including under the Perth Airport runway.

Department of Agriculture and Food, WA

SCG was engaged by Building Management and Works (BMW) to provide security consulting services for the Access Control System upgrade at the Department of Food and Agriculture.

Our scope of services included design and documentation, tender, and implementation phases, with the total project delivery over approximately 16 weeks.

The existing legacy system is a Cardax FT Commander which had reached end of life, and included 30 controlled access doors at the South Perth Facility and three remote gate access points in regional locations.

SCG was engaged by Department of Immigration and Border Protection to undertake a strategic review of current security infrastructure at selected Immigration Detention Facilities and make recommendations to improve capability for the management of high risk detainees.

The SCG team brought to this project a strong ability to benchmark designs and differing operational requirements across correctional institutions throughout Australia and overseas.  This includes projects in the juvenile system, adult male and female facilities, forensic mental health, immigration centres and across all security and classification levels.

Department of Immigration and Border Protection, Perth Airport

SCG was engaged by JLL on behalf of Australia Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) to provide SCEC Endorsed Security Zone Consultancy for the design of the Server Room Expansion at their facility at the Perth International Airport.

The scope of the project was to consolidate and combine the existing DIBP server room and CCTV equipment rooms into a single centralised communications server room for the facility.  The new server room was to be designed and constructed to meet Zone 4 physical security requirements.
