SCG was engaged by Building Management and Works (BMW) to provide security consulting services for the Access Control System upgrade at the Department of Food and Agriculture.

Our scope of services included design and documentation, tender, and implementation phases, with the total project delivery over approximately 16 weeks.

The existing legacy system is a Cardax FT Commander which had reached end of life, and included 30 controlled access doors at the South Perth Facility and three remote gate access points in regional locations.

SCG was engaged directly by Yara Pilbara Fertilisers to review the Access Control System recently installed at the new Technical Ammonia Nitrate (TAN) Plant adjacent to the existing liquid ammonia plant.

SCG recommended the replacement of the system, to align and integrate with the existing facility, and enable adequate service support in the Karratha region.

SCG also participated in the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Perth, and provided project management and inspect services for the works conducted by the security installer.
